About Our Giclée Services
Attention Artist or Collectors!!
Do you have artwork that you would like to have copied or make into limited editions?
Artists, are you afraid that with conventional printing methods that the requirements of buying in runs of 100+ will be
too expensive and leave you with many unwanted copies?
Are you worried that the color exactness will vary from each additional run?
Wouldn't you prefer to buy only the amount of prints for each image that you desire and be able to afford to have more
than one image reproduced at the same time and at the times that you need them?
Well, we are the answer to your problems. We can offer you prints at an affordable rate with true exact color with high
resolution in any amount that you wish to order. If you need only 1,
2, 3, 4,
5 prints, or 10 -
20, or any amount what-so-ever we can give you that with the
Giclée method. If you read our "
What is a Giclée" page that describes what a Giclée
is then you will understand the quality that is ensured with these prints. And the colors are
exactly the same with each order. Plus, our inks are UV rated and have
an archival rating of 200 years.
Think of the convenience of ordering only the amount of copies that you want and when you want them. All you will ever have to do
is to e-mail us to place your order. In most cases we will be able to begin making your prints, once we receive your images, within
24 - 48 hours and return them to you within 4 - 5
working days, depending on the quantity ordered and method of shipping.
Types of Prints Available: We can offer you printing in three different types;
Somerset Velvet Watercolor Paper Prints,
Artist Canvas Prints, and Photo Paper Prints.
We Guarantee the Quality of Our Work & Materials: However, understand that print
quality of the finished print you get from us can only be as good as the digital file you send us to work with. We cannot be responsible
for poor color or print quality due to your image being out of focus,
poor resolution, low dpi,
blur, content,
wrong color mode, size,
etc. We use a very carefully calibrated and profiled system. You, the customer,
are solely responsible for image quality & color and should make any color adjustments before
sending your file. It is not always possible to get 100% accuracy! Since
monitors have different color levels, we cannot guarantee that your print will look the same as the image it does on your monitor.
File types should be .tiff, or .jpeg
files and at minimum resolution of 200 dpi. Other
types are not recommended. Other file types such as .pdf or .ai files are unacceptable
for printing.
We Do Not Crop Prints:We print the exact size that you send or ask for based on the
scale of your sized image. Please note that we do not print any
paper image larger than 30
inches wide or any canvas larger than 40
inches wide, however this will leave only one inch excess of canvas for stretching purposes.
Our canvases are 42 inches in width.
Order your prints in the same proportions as your file. If cropping is a concern, you should crop your file yourself using PhotShop.
If the size that you order is different to that of the scaled proportions of your file, we will scale the proportions to that of the
smallest side of your file. This will leave the longer side a bit larger than your request, but proportionally correct to the shorter
side of your image.
We do not stretch canvases: We ship everything unstretched and unframed. This will
save you a lot in shipping charges, which would more than likely be more expensive than having your local framer do this feature for you.
Damage or Missing Prints: We very rarely have a print damaged or lost in shipment.
Any damage will be apparent upon opening the package. Because both canvas & paper prints are susceptible to damage by the customer
after delivery, you MUST notify us of any damage or shortage within
two days of delivery for us to file an UPS claim. DO NOT
return package. All unauthorized returns will be refused and NO
credit will be given. We are not responsible for damage once a print leaves our location. Our sole
obligation is to file an UPS claim for damaged prints and reprint when that claim is paid.
Bent or Dinged Edges: Such imperfections on paper prints are not considered damage,
since most customers either mat or cut off all or some of the borders. We leave these borders simply to protect the printed area until
mounting.
Spots or Imperfections in the Printed Area: You
must return the print for inspection before reprint,
since most times, the fault is in the digital file and sometimes very difficult to see on an average monitor. In the case of a
damaged print, our only obligation is to replace the print. No refunds.
Errors on Our Part: If we make a error on an order, we're happy to correct it.
You MUST notify us within 5
days of delivery. We are not responsible for corrections unless notified within 5
days. You must return any prints before a reprint. Our only obligation is to reprint.
Copyright: By ordering you state that you are the copyright owner of these images
or have permission of the owner to reproduce these images. We WILL NOT knowingly
violate anyone's copyright.
